WYTHE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Wythe County Sheriff’s Office and the Wythe Couty Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office underwent “Operation Queenpin” over the past few months — an investigation working on a narcotics distribution ring in Wythe County.

According to officials, large quantities of methamphetamine, heroin, marijuana, and fentanyl were being distributed throughout Wythe County, and– in an effort to arrest the drug dealers — Wythe County Sheriff’s Office executed search warrants on Castleton Road in the Barren Springs community and Ashley Lane in the Grahams Forge community.

Wythe County Sheriff’s Office says it seized a total of 688 grams of methamphetamine and 16 grams of heroin with a total street value of $72,000. There was $4,700 seized as well.

The following individuals have been arrested and charged:

  • Timothy King was charged with the distribution, possession, and intent to distribute over 10 grams of methamphetamine.
  • Shelby Perry was charged with distribution, possession, and intent to distribute 100 grams of methamphetamine and 10 grams of heroin.
  • Jorge Olivares was charged with felon in possession of ammunition for a firearm.

The Wythe County Sheriff’s Office is expecting more arrests and charges.
