BLACKSBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Virginia Tech will be hosting its Relay for Life on Friday, April 7, on the Drillfield.

Events start at 3 p.m. Friday and will continue throughout the day, ending at 3 a.m. the following morning.

The relay is part of a year-long fundraiser effort for the American Cancer Society and is one of the largest collegiate relays. Currently, there are over 1,900 participants signed up to attend the event which will include a speech by Virginia Tech football coach Brent Pry, traditional ceremonies, and more.
