NOTE: We previously reported that Brian Vick was arrested on January 31. He was arrested on January 27, according to the Montgomery County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — According to the Montgomery County Circuit Court, a Virginia Tech Professor has been arrested and charged with several sex crimes including sexual assault and intercourse by force on January 27.
According to court documents, Brian Vick was charged with the following:
- 14 counts of indecent acts with a child
- 11 counts of aggravated sexual battery
- Sexual intercourse with victims by force, threat, or intimidation.
The Montgomery Commonwealth Attorney’s office says these offenses allegedly occurred between 2001 and 2002.
A representative with the university tells WFXR News that Vick is currently employed at the university but is not teaching.
He is being held at the Western Virginia Regional Jail without bond. His next court date is on February 6 at 11 a.m.
