CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. (WFXR) — On Saturday evening, multiple departments responded to a vehicle that crashed into a building in Christiansburg — the second such incident in Christiansburg that day.

According to Montgomery County Emergency Services, the Christiansburg Volunteer Fire Department, Christiansburg Rescue, and the Christiansburg Police Department were dispatched after a vehicle left the roadway and hit a building on Radford Road on Saturday, Feb. 20.

Emergency officials say the driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, was brought to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The condition of the building that was struck will be further evaluated.
