VDOT to hold public meeting regarding exit ramp in Wythe County

WYHTE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a meeting on Thursday regarding the exit 41 ramp off I-77 to Peppers Ferry Road.

The project would extend the I-77 North deceleration lane, with changes to the exit loop ramp and the entrance ramp at exit 41 to realign the current connection at Nye Road to Peppers Ferry Road.

You may give your written or oral comments at the hearing or online by July 25. You can also submit comments by mailing them to Mr. Gene Holley, Project Manager, Virginia Department of Transportation, 2111 Bonham Road, Bristol, VA 24201 or email comments to bristolinfo@vdot.virginia.gov and reference “Interstate 77 Exit 41 (Wythe County) PH Comment” in the subject line.

The public design meeting will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 15 at the Wytheville Meeting Center.
