WYTHEVILLE, Va. (WFXR) — The Wytheville Police Department has issued an arrest warrant for a man that allegedly made a bomb threat to Walmart on January 22.
Around 11 p.m. on Sunday Wytheville officers and K9 units responded to Walmart after a bomb threat was received by employees. When officials arrived at the scene, they evacuated the store and searched for explosive devices. After a thorough search, no devices were found and the store was deemed safe.
During Detective Ander’s investigation, he issued an arrant warrant for 41-year-old Alan Dale Rosenbaum, of Charlottesville.
Rosenbaum is wanted on the following charges:
- communicate to Walmart Threats to Bomb or Burn the building.
- threaten an illegal act over the telephone
The Charlottesville Police are assisting Wytheville officers in locating Rosenbaum.
