UPDATE 1/24 AT 11:53 A.M.: VDOT has reported the earlier tractor-trailer crash on Interstate 81 South in Pulaski County at mile marker 98 is cleared.

The left shoulder and lane are now open.



PULASKI COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) –The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) says drivers traveling on Interstate 81 South in Pulaski County can expect delays because of a tractor-trailer crash at mile maker 98 near Dublin.

VDOT says, due to the crash, traffic is backed up for over two miles. The left shoulder and lane are closed at this time.

A time when lanes will reopen has not been released as of yet.

Drivers traveling on this route are encouraged to seek alternative routes of travel.
