CARROLL COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Hillsville Police Department (HPD) says they have arrested two alleged ‘driveway sealers’ after seeing social media posts from concerned people in the community.

HPD says they noticed two different social media posts on Fri. Dec. 2. about two men. They say they were able to locate the men and make an arrest.

Both men were charged with the following:

  • Failing to purchase a town “door-to-door” license
  • Obstruction of justice
  • Possession of Methamphetamine
  • Possession of Naloxone (without a prescription)

HPD says the two men were from North Augusta, S.C. whose names have not been released.

Police are asking anyone who was recently approached by the men to contact Investigator Gravley at 276-728-2551. They say for people who live out of the jurisdiction that has made contact with them to contact their local law enforcement.
