Pulaski water services shut down due to pump station issue; fire department providing water to residents

New River Valley News

PULASKI, Va. (WXR) — Crews from Public Works are working to repair a pump station that went through an emergency automatic shutoff Friday morning.

The pump station is located near Calfee Park but is this issue is not related to the water line breaks that occurred on Thursday.

While crews work to resolve the issue, a fire department truck will be set up at the lower parking lot of the park from 3 to 6 p.m. to provide water to those who do not have access to water. You are asked to bring your own containers to have filled up with water.

Crews plan to have the water services restored to residents by today.
