Pulaski Police name Patrol Lt. Jill Neice interim chief

PULASKI, Va. (WFXR) — There is a new interim police chief at the Pulaski Police Department.

Patrol Lt. Jill Neice will serve as the department’s interim police chief. This comes following the retirement of former Police Chief Gary Roche.

Neice served more than 23 years in various roles with the Pulaski Police Department.

She began her career as a Patrol Officer before moving into the Investigations division. Neice moved throughout the department working as a Detective Sergeant and then settling on her role as Patrol Lieutenant.

“Her entire career in law enforcement has been spent with the Pulaski Police Department, honing her skills and developing a strong rapport with her colleagues and community,” the Town of Pulaski said in a statement on Thursday, June 3.

Neice graduated from New River Community College with an Associated of Applied Science degree in Administration of Justice, as well as Radford University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.
