Pulaski County YMCA celebrating second annual Highland Games Saturday

PULASKI COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The YMCA of Pulaski County is kicking off the second annual Highland Games on Saturday with food, fun, and professional Scottish athletic displays.

During the games — which are set to take place at the YMCA of Pulaski County from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 12 — you can watch professional highland games athletes participate in traditional events, like the Scottish hammer throw and the tree toss.

There will also be kid-friendly versions of the Highland Game events, as well as appearances from food trucks like Taco Trolly and Suzie’s Funnel Cakes.

Admission costs $5, but kids 12 and under get in for free.
