Pulaski County Public Schools to hold remote learning day on Friday

PULASKI COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Pulaski County students will wrap up this week with a virtual instruction day, according to school officials.

Pulaski County Public Schools says that Friday, Oct. 22 will be an “asynchronous day” for all students. However, the district did not list a reason for the temporary switch to remote learning.

School officials are still seeing some positive coronavirus cases in Pulaski County. As of Thursday, Oct. 21, the district’s dashboard says there have been 10 positive cases this week at the following schools:

  • One at Critzer Elementary School
  • One at Dublin Elementary School
  • Three at Riverlawn Elementary School
  • Five at Pulaski County Middle School

So far, there have been 169 positive COVID-19 cases at Pulaski County Public Schools for the 2021-2022 school year. You can check out the full virus dashboard by clicking here.
