PULASKI COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — There is a nine-mile backup along I-81 North Thursday afternoon as a result of pothole patching operations in Pulaski County.

According to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), motorists should expect major delays until 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 25 from mile marker 96 to mile marker 105 on I-81.

As of 3:13 p.m., VDOT says traffic is backed up for approximately nine miles.
