One arrested after domestic violence incident outside Radford University apartment complex

RADFORD, Va. (WFXR) — Police took one person into custody on Sunday following reports of an incident with a gun outside a campus apartment complex at Radford University.

According to the Radford University Police Department, at approximately noon on Sunday, Oct. 31, officers responded to the apartment complex along Fairfax Street for “a domestic violence incident involving the discharge of a firearm.”

The department says officers immediately arrested the person involved in the incident.

The Radford City Police Department reportedly assisted campus police officers with Sunday’s arrest.
