FLOYD, Va. (WFXR) – Virginia State Police say an officer-involved shooting took place on Sunday night in Floyd County that resulted in a man’s death.
According to VSP, the incident took place just after 11:30 p.m.
They say Troy Allen Bain, 58, of Willis, VA died at the scene.
VSP’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Salem is investigating the incident at the request of Floyd County Sheriff Brian Craig.
