CHRISTIANSBURG Va. (WFXR) — Sunday wrapped up the New River Valley’s Home Expo, which brought just about every home service in the region under one roof.

Citizens came out to see who they could talk to about their home project needs.

“It gives the community a chance to meet with their local businesses and have that one-on-one interaction on neutral ground for them to talk about their project and what they are looking for in their home or what types of services they need for home improvement, anything like that,” said Kelsey Grow, the executive officer of the New River Valley Home Builders Association.

Grow says they had a great turnout, adding that the expo may have helped people looking for employment since attendees had opportunities to apply for open jobs with a variety of companies on-site.
