PULASKI COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Time to celebrate the freedom to ride and the freedom to have fun this July when the New River Valley Fair returns to Pulaski County!
The New River Valley Fair website says the fair will be held from July 25-31.
According to the fair’s Facebook page, there will still be carnival rides, exhibits in the Farris Building, and vendors in the Wysor Building. However, the fair will not feature the Demolition Derby, LawnMower Racing, or the rodeo.
“The New River Valley Fair Board will proceed with the 2021 NRV Fair and will adhere to all Covid guidelines and restrictions,” the New River Valley Fair posted on Facebook on Tuesday, May 4. “Should there be a change in those restrictions and guidelines there is a possibility of cancellation but not at this time.”
In addition, there will be one night of “Main Stage Entertainment” with Crawford and Power on July 29, the Facebook page says. Meanwhile, “Back Porch Stage Entertainment” will be in The Bud Walsh Arena and the Wysor Building will not have entertainment.
Organizers also say the Horse Pull has been moved to July 26; Gospel Night will be July 27; Ride N Shotgun Band will hit the stage on July 30; and wrestling will be July 31.
If you have any questions, message the New River Valley Fair on Facebook or call the Fair Office at (540) 674-1548.
