Multi-vehicle crash causing delays on I-81 in Montgomery County cleared

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – VDOT reports the multi-vehicle crash on I-81 in Bedford County has been cleared.

The south right lane and the right shoulder have been reopened.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Virginia Department of Transportation says drivers can expect delays on I-81 in Montgomery County due to a multi-vehicle crash.

As of 4:41 p.m., the south right lane and right shoulder are closed near mile marker 128.5. Traffic backups around two miles.
