Motorhome fire extinguished along section of I-77 in Carroll County

CARROLL COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — A motorhome fire along a section of I-77 Monday morning in Carroll County caused some tense moments.

According to the Hillsville Fire Department, the fire was called in around 11:45 a.m. on Monday, April 5 from exit 19 on I-77 North.

Crews were ultimately able to extinguish the fire.

The Carroll County Fire & Rescue Department, as well as the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department and Virginia State Police, all aided in the effort.

The scene has since been cleared and traffic is moving normally around that area.
