MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — One person is recovering from smoke inhalation and a minor burn after an early Tuesday morning house fire.

The Riner Volunteer Rescue Squad says units received a call of a fire in the Graysontown area at 2:50 a.m. on Tuesday, May 3. When crews arrived, they found the house fully engulfed in flames.

One person was treated for smoke inhalation and a minor burn. No one else was reported hurt.

The Riner Volunteer Rescue Squad was assisted by the Riner Volunteer Fire Department, the Montgomery County Fire-EMS Department, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, and the Snowville Volunteer Fire Department.
