PULASKI COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The man charged with murder in the death of an off-duty Pulaski County deputy will remain in jail for the immediate future.
A judge denied bond for Michael Dominic Morris on Wednesday, Feb. 17.
Authorities say Morris crossed the center line and struck the truck being driven by Sgt. Perry Hodge of the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office on Jan. 14.
Hodge died at the scene.
In additional to murder, Morris is being charged with involuntary manslaughter and unauthorized use of a vehicle.
