Man arrested in fatal stabbing Saturday in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – Deputies in Montgomery County say they have arrested a man for allegedly being involved in a fatal stabbing.

According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place Saturday afternoon shortly after 3 p.m. in the Roman Drive section of the Blacksburg area.

When deputies arrived, they found a man who had been stabbed.

Rescue crews attempted to revive the man, identified as Robert Custer, but their efforts were unsuccessful.

While at the scene, Adam Nunnally was identified as the suspect in the stabbing.

Nunnally was charged with second-degree murder.

He is currently being held without bond at the Montgomery County Jail.
