UPDATE 10:31 a.m.: Pulaski officials say Public Works has finished repairing the water line that broke Tuesday morning, but residents in the affected area may still receive a reverse 911 call about a boil water notice.

PULASKI, Va. (WFXR) — People living in or near downtown Pulaski will likely be impacted by a major water line break in the downtown area Tuesday morning.

The Town of Pulaski announced the water line break on Facebook just after 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday, April 20.

Officials say the County Emergency Services Coordinator has implemented a reverse 911 call to issue a boil water notice if you live in the affected area.

Public Works is reportedly on site at this time to make repairs, but there is no word on when those repairs will be completed.
