WYTHE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – On Tuesday night, the Wythe County Board of Supervisors will vote on a resolution supporting extending passenger rail service beyond Roanoke.

The resolution says Wythe County is suited to serve as a rail hub for the region and that a study by transit leaders should consider Max Meadows, Rural Retreat or Wytheville as a host site for a rail station.
