UPDATE 10:04 a.m.: The traffic backup has cleared along I-81 in Wythe County following Wednesday morning’s incident, but VDOT says the southbound right shoulder is still closed at mile marker 75.
WYTHE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — An incident along I-81 South has closed lanes and backed up Wythe County traffic for a couple miles Wednesday morning.
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) says the southbound right lane and right shoulder are closed at mile marker 75 on I-81.
According to VDOT, traffic is currently backed up for approximately two miles at this time.
