UPDATE: Four suspects in custody in stolen vehicle incident from Wythe County

UPDATE 9:10 p.m.: Grayson County authorities say that there were four individuals involved in a report of a stolen vehicle from Wythe County.

The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office says all four are in custody.

UPDATE 1:57 p.m.: According to Grayson County authorities, two suspects are in custody, but one male is still at large in the Hidden Valley Road area and he may be armed.

Residents in the Carsonville Road and Summerfield Road areas are asked to lock their cars and be on the lookout.

UPDATE 11:37 a.m.: The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office says two of the three males are now in custody while the third is running toward Paradise Lane.

GRAYSON COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Deputies, state troopers, and police officers are currently looking around Grayson County Monday morning for three males who may be armed.

The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook at 9:18 a.m. on Monday, April 19 that members of the sheriff’s office, Virginia State Police, and the Independence Police Department were searching for the three males in the Elk Creek area.

Then, at 10:16 a.m. on Monday, the sheriff’s office said a male subject was heading east toward Paradise lane and asked Hidden Valley residents to be on the lookout for the three males.

In the meantime, authorities encourage community members to stay safe.
