BLACKSBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Gov. Ralph Northam stopped by Virginia Tech on Thursday for a tour of the Brooks Forest Products Center to get a firsthand look at how students study, make, and even test renewable materials for the forest industry.
“I really enjoy traveling around and visiting our college campuses and seeing the amazing work, the amazing opportunities that are there for students,” said Northam. “And this is Virginia Forestry Products Week, so we really want to promote all the good things that are being done in Virginia.”
The governor concluded his visit with a declaration recognizing National Forest Products Week.
