FLOYD COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Floyd County Volunteer Fire Department Station 3 reports a person has suffered minor injuries after crashing head-on into a tree on August 5.

Details about what led to the crash are limited; however, firefighters say they responded to the Copper Hill area on Saturday morning.

When crews arrived, they learned the driver had crashed into a tree.

Firefighters say the driver was wearing a seatbelt and the airbags deployed.
