PULASKI COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — A driver ended up in the hospital Monday night after a tractor-trailer crashed and overturned in Pulaski County.

According to the Dublin Fire Department, units were dispatched just after 10 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 20 to a single-vehicle crash with at least one person injured. When crews arrived at the scene, they found a tractor-trailer on its side, blocking the entire roadway.

Meanwhile, Pulaski County Emergency Management announced shortly before 10:30 p.m. on Monday that Route 100 North was shut down because of an overturned tractor-trailer in the Heritage Church area.

Fire officials say the driver of the tractor-trailer was transported to the hospital to be checked out. There is no word on the driver’s condition at this time.

Thanks to some help from the Dublin Police Department, the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, and the Newbern Fire Department, the Dublin Fire Department says units returned to service a little after 1 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 21.
