GILES COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – Last week, the Giles County Animal Shelter posted on social media that two dogs were reportedly thrown out of a Ford Expedition along Route 460 in Rich Creek.
Now, those dogs are available for adoption.
Angel and Gracie are said to be very sweet and friendly dogs who love attention and are ready to be welcomed into a new family.
WFXR News reported last week that the two dogs were said to have been thrown out of a burgundy, older-model Ford Expedition by a male near the Pizza Plus turn-off in Rich Creek.
If you would like to meet Angel and Gracie, you are asked to contact Bill with Animal Control to set up an appointment at (540) 235-6096.
However, in the words of the Giles County Animal Shelter, “Just because they are now up for adoption doesn’t mean we stopped looking for the person that dumped them.”
If you have any information about these dogs’ previous owner, the shelter urges you to call Animal Control.
