UPDATE: Pulaski County man considered ‘armed and dangerous’ is in custody

UPDATE 11:30 a.m.: The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office says Corey Wayne Hodge has been captured and is in custody.

PULASKI COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – Deputies with the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s help in locating a man they determine to be “armed and dangerous.”

According to authorities, Corey Wayne Hodge is a man with brown hair and blue eyes. He stands at approximately 5’8″ tall and weighs around 220 pounds.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, tan boots, a white t-shirt, and a camouflage jacket with a hood with the word “Joker” on the top front.

Hodge is wanted in relation to an early morning death that occurred in the Parrott River Road section of Pulaski County on Sunday, May 23.

He was reportedly last seen in the area of Exit 98 of I-81.

Deputies say Hodge should be considered armed and dangerous.

If you see Hodge, you are asked to call 911 immediately and not approach him.
