CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. (WFXR) — The Town of Christiansburg is bringing back the Utility Debt Relief Program for a second round.
The town’s Finance Department has identified customers with water and wastewater accounts that have been past due for more than 30 days and who qualify for this funding. Those who qualify will receive notices in the mail.
If you do not receive a letter but believe you qualify, you can contact the Finance Office or complete this form and turn it in by 5 p.m. on Monday, April 5.
The Town of Christiansburg’s Finance Department will review all submissions for qualification for the program.
CARES Utility Relief Funds do not cover stormwater fees, solid waste charges, or any other fees. The funding can only be applied to unpaid water and wastewater bills with due dates of May 1, 2020, through Feb. 1, 2021.
