CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. (WFXR) – The New River Valley Small Business Relief Program is offering grants to local businesses in the Town of Christiansburg, along with other localities in the New River Valley.

Available grants reach up to $15,000 to aid in the financial struggles that small businesses have faced during the pandemic.

Other businesses that may apply for these grants include the following localities: Montgomery County, Floyd County, Pulaski County, Giles County and the City of Radford.

These grants are being funded by Virginia’s Department of Housing and Community Development as part of a Community Development Block Grant awarded to help localities mitigate the impacts of COVID-19 on the regional economy.

Applications must be submitted by Jan. 28.
