New driving school opens in Floyd

Local News

A new driving school could keep your teenagers safe on the roads.

Aim High Driving opened up it’s second location in Floyd.

The school will be teaching driver’s education courses as well as behind the wheel private lessons and driving improvement classes for any age.

Instructors say they picked the Floyd location because they believe they are creating a service needed in that area.

“I’ve talked to a lot of locals  and they say for most of their driving classes they have had to go to Roanoke and Christiansburg to take them so I’m hoping to offer them something right in their back yard and it’s convenient and affordable,” said Holly Carpenter, Owner of Aim High Driving School.

Drivers education classes will start in the summer.

They will also have a Spanish translator for those who need to pass their driver’s test.
