(WFXR) — In light of National Tooth Fairy Day, the price of baby teeth is going up. Averaging at $6.23 per tooth, fairies are staying in business.
Outside of the dental office, the Delta Dental of Virginia Foundation has a curriculum for students in grades K-12. Several programs including the Smart Smiles curriculum help students learn about the importance of taking care of their teeth which includes flossing, brushing, and visiting the dentist.
Jeremey Butterfield with Delta Dental of Virginia spoke with WFXR’s Amanda Kenny and Evan Johnson about how generous the tooth fairy is and the importance of oral health.
