Southeast Roanoke fire started in the kitchen; exact cause yet to be determined

UPDATE 10:30 p.m.: Firefighters tell WFXR News that the house fire in southeast Roanoke Monday evening started in the kitchen; however, the exact cause of the blaze has not yet been determined.

Three people have been displaced from the home as a result of the fire, according to Roanoke Fire-EMS.

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Multiple units are on scene of a house fire in Roanoke.

The fire is on Penmar Avenue and Morningside Street SE.

No injuries were reported.
