Montgomery County leaders have declared a local state of emergency to prepare for possible overnight flooding throughout the area.
In a statement, a county spokesman clarified there are no immediate weather-related emergencies in Montgomery County.
By declaring a local state of emergency, the County can now request additional state and federal resources such as equipment and personnel if they are deemed necessary.
