ROCKY MOUNT, Va. (WFXR) — The Town of Rocky Mount Police Department (RMPD) says a man has passed away after a shooting at the Rocky Mount Bowling Center on May 12.

According to RMPD, around 11:11 p.m., officers received a call about a possible shooting at the bowling center on North Main Street. Several law enforcement agencies including the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene. Officers found 25-year-old Keith H. Anderson, from Moneta, lying unresponsive in the front parking lot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

As their investigation continued, it led to the arrest of Joshua Tyler Coleman, from Callaway, who was charged with Second-Degree Murder.

He is being held without bond at the Franklin County Jail.

The shooting remains under investigation, but officers believe this was an isolated incident. WFXR News will update you with information as it is released.
