Lynchburg police investigate malicious wounding; one victim hospitalized

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Police in Lynchburg are investigating a shooting that happened Monday evening in the 2100 block of Fort Avenue.

The victim is in critical but stable condition at this time.

Police say a victim was taken to Lynchburg General Hospital with that are considered non-life threatening injuries. According to Lynchburg Police, the victim is in critical but stable condition.

The LPD is searching for suspects. This is an ongoing investigation.
