Lynchburg police looking for alleged CVS shoplifters

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Lynchburg police officers are searching for a group suspected of stealing from CVS stores over the course of a month.

Police say they are looking for a group of at least two men and one woman who reportedly stole products from a several stores in the area.

According to the Lynchburg Police Department, the first incident happened on March 27 at a CVS Pharmacy on Wards Road. Officers responded to the store after a report of a man running away from the store with a shopping cart full of items.

On April 20, police say they went to a CVS on Old Forest Road after a woman was suspected of filling a duffel bag with products and leaving the store.

Officers were dispatched to another CVS Pharmacy on Langhorne Road on April 24 when a man — who was identified as a shoplifter from a different store — ran away from that location, according to the department.

By April 27, police say they were back at the CVS on Old Forest Road after a report of the same woman stealing from the store and then leaving.
