Lynchburg Police are identifying a body found in a wooded area as a woman who was reported missing several days earlier. Lynchburg Police say shortly after 1 p.m. Saturday, they got a report of a body located in a wooded area several feet from the 1300 block of Cherokee Avenue. Police have identified the body as 52 year old Mary Theresa Yeatts who was reported missing on July 17, 2019. Police say the cause of death is under investigation.
