LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Lynchburg Police are investigating a vehicle theft at a car dealership last week.
Police say a woman and man visited the Pinkerton Chevrolet, located at 801 Graves Mill Rd., on Dec. 27 and looked at a 2017 blue Cadillac XTC.
Upon inspection of the vehicle including sitting inside, the couple took a key, according to police.
Security camera footage shows that the man returned to the lot at night when the dealership was closed and left with the same vehicle he looked at earlier, law enforcement said.
The vehicle tags that read HOTMIX1 were also stolen, police say.
