UPDATE: Police release images of three individuals wanted in connection with an armed robbery at Lynchburg’s Fort Hill Mart

UPDATE 9:40 p.m.: Lynchburg Police have released photos from surveillance video of the three individuals who are wanted in connection with an armed robbery Wednesday night at Fort Hill Mart in Lynchburg.

Police say one individual wore a white sweatshirt and black pants. The second wore a blue sweatshirt and black pants and the third wore a black sweatshirt and dark pants.

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — The Lynchburg Police Department is on the lookout for three people in connection with an armed robbery at the Fort Hill Mart late Wednesday night.

The department says officers were dispatched to a report of an armed robbery at the Fort Hill Mart at 5210 Fort Avenue just after 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 24.

According to police, three people entered the store, one of whom threatened the store clerk with a gun in order to take some money from the store.

This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information about the robbery should call Detective Dubie with the Lynchburg Police Department at (434) 455-6102.
