Lynchburg Police asking for information in a shooting incident

Lynchburg Police are looking for information in a shooting incident that happened Saturday night. 

Here is the press release from the Lynchburg Police Department: 

“On November 17, 2018, at 5:27 pm, officers of the Lynchburg Police Department responded to the 2200 block of Fort Avenue, for a report of a person who had been shot. When officers arrived on scene, they located a 45 year old black male who was lying on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital where he was treated. He is in stable condition and his wound is not life-threatening. This case is active and ongoing. Any further information to be released will be done as an update to this Press Release.
