Lynchburg Museum features women in the workforce exhibit

The Lynchburg Museum will be displaying items showcasing women in the workforce from the 20th century for First Friday on March 1st. The museum will have extended hours from 5 to 8 PM and admission is free.

You’ll get to see items from women’s professions such as nursing,teaching and their service during war time. The 20th century was a time where social attitudes towards work evolved and local women entered new industries and businesses. 

The items will remain on display until March 8th.
