A Lynchburg man is facing more charges shortly after he had been charged with 21 counts of taking indecent liberties with a child and 21 counts of using communication systems to facilitate offenses with children.
According to a Lynchburg police spokesman, Jared Anderson has been charged with 11 counts of possession of child pornography. The charges are unrelated to his previous charges that involved a 14-year-old victim.
“This investigation has also uncovered that Anderson has been using the fictitious name of Brian Thompson on various social media and dating websites. Anyone having unwanted contact with Anderson while he was using the fictitious name of Brian Thompson is asked to make contact with Det. K. T. Poindexter,” a police spokesman said in a media release.
Anderson is being held without bond.
