Lynchburg man arrested in connection with March burglary

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — A 59-year-old Lynchburg man faces charges in connection with a burglary from last month.

According to the Lynchburg Police Department, officers responded to Crab Du Jour at 3810 Wards Road for a report of a burglary at 2:25 p.m. on Thursday, March 19.

The department says security cameras recorded a man breaking the front doors to the business, leaving with several items, and returning several hours later to take additional items. Police say the man, identified as Michael Anthony Rowe of Lynchburg, was arrested on Friday, March 20 and charged with two counts of breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony.
