UPDATE: Water service restored in Lynchburg following water main break

UPDATE 12:34 p.m.: Lynchburg Water Resources says crews have fixed the water main break on Chesterfield Road, allowing water service to be restored to all properties affected by the break.


LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Water has been temporarily shut off in parts of Lynchburg while crews from Lynchburg Water Resources work to repair a water main break on Chesterfield Road.

According to city officials, water service has been interrupted for residents at 203-233 Chesterfield Road, 1043-1141 Moreview Drive, and 111 and 113 Huntdale Drive.

Motorists are asked to use caution and follow traffic signage when traveling through these areas.
