APPOMATTOX, Va. (WFXR) — Appomattox County Sheriff’s Office has reported making an arrest following investigations into Triangle Tobacco and Vape, located at 189 Old Courthouse Road, Appomattox.

According to investigators, the business owner and property have been included in an ongoing investigation related to illegal product sales. On Wednesday, April 12th, a search warrant was executed at the business, during which numerous suspected illegal products were allegedly found being sold.

The owner, 47-year-old Ebrahim Ali-Mohammed Al-Gami of Appomattox was arrested and has since been charged with the following:

  • Distribution of Marijuana to a Minor
  • Possession with intent to distribute marijuana between ½ oz and 5lbs

Officials say additional charges may be added in the future, and the collected examples taken from the search have been sent to the state lab for additional testing. WFXR News will update you with any further information as it is released.
