UPDATE: US-460 East reopened in Campbell County after crash

UPDATE 7:37 a.m.: According to VDOT, crews have reopened the eastbound lanes on U.S. Route 460 after clearing the scene of Friday morning’s crash in Campbell County.

CAMPBELL COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Friday morning motorists are starting to see delays in Campbell County due to a crash closing down U.S. Route 460 East.

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) says all eastbound lanes are closed on Route 460 near the intersection with the Lynchburg Highway ramp.

As of this writing, traffic is backed up for a mile on Route 460 East due to this crash, according to VDOT.
